Position Summary...
The Director, Security Governance and Standards plays a critical leadership role in protecting people, operations, and brand trust across a global enterprise. This role leads the enterprise Security Risk Mitigation strategy, and physical and technical response efforts to insider threats, threat of violence, disaster response, and security governance programs—using data, technology, and strong partnerships to reduce risk and strengthen resilience. You’ll influence strategy, guide expert teams, and help shape enterprise-wide safety and security outcomes in a complex, fast-moving environment.You will collaborate with Global Safety & Security partners across the business to identify, mitigate, and manage risks that could impact associates, customers, and operations worldwide. The team blends analytics, governance, and operational expertise to proactively address insider threats, physical security risks, and disaster preparedness. This role directly supports business continuity, associate safety, and enterprise resilience by setting standards, driving innovation, and enabling consistent global execution.
What you'll do...
- Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of all enterprise facilities through the enterprise Security Risk Model and provide mitigation recommendations and governance for physical and technical strategies to reduce overall risk to associates, customer and company assets.
- Provide strategic guidance and coordinate physical security assets in support of the disaster response, recovery, and global hazard mitigation initiatives.
- Oversee security assessments, risk analysis, and monitoring capabilities across markets, and partner with business to develop and implement security best practices and mitigation strategies.
- Partner globally to drive process improvement, technology adoption, and risk reduction
- Develop, coach, and lead high-performing teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience leading global safety, security, risk, or threat management programs
- Strong knowledge of security industry standards, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to translate data and analytics into actionable risk mitigation strategies
- Experience leading and developing expert teams across regions and cultures
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior leaders and enterprise outcomes
- Ability to collaborate and build partnerships internally and externally through strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
