Applies regulatory expertise and critical thinking to assess compliance impacts, identify risks, and recommend practical, business-aligned solutions. May facilitate or advise cross-functional teams in implementing compliance-driven improvements.
  • Control & Remediation Support: Collaborates with internal teams to design, implement and test controls over DFARS Business Systems to address risks and compliance gaps. Supports control testing activities related to remediation efforts by reviewing results, assessing effectiveness, and providing recommendations to strengthen controls and reduce risk. Provides guidance on the documentation and implementation of controls and monitoring mechanisms to enhance compliance and sustain audit readiness. Develops recommendations to improve control effectiveness and regulatory alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Facilitates coordination among Business System owners, compliance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders to support audits, reviews, and corrective action activities. Provides clear, actionable guidance to stakeholders on regulatory expectations, audit issues, and risk-based compliance approaches.
  • Other Responsibilities: Supports departmental deliverables, including status reporting, risk assessments, and coordination of quarterly DFARS Business System certifications and risk meetings.
