We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented AI Governance Analyst to help establish, maintain, and strengthen governance frameworks that support the responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring AI systems align with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, ethical standards, and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will work closely with AI teams, legal, compliance, risk, security, and business stakeholders to support the effective governance of AI initiatives throughout their lifecycle.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

AI Governance & Policy Management

  • Support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks.
  • Assist in developing AI policies, standards, and governance procedures.
  • Maintain governance documentation and control frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of responsible AI practices.
  • Monitor adherence to governance requirements across AI initiatives.

Risk Assessment & Compliance

  • Help identify and manage risks associated with AI technologies.
  • Conduct AI risk assessments and impact analyses.
  • Support compliance reviews and regulatory assessments.
  • Monitor emerging AI regulations and industry standards.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Provide oversight and visibility into AI governance activities.
  • Track governance metrics and compliance indicators.
  • Prepare reports for leadership and governance committees.
  • Support governance audits and review processes.
  • Maintain records of governance assessments and findings.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, security, and AI teams.
  • Provide guidance on governance requirements and controls.
  • Support governance reviews during project delivery.
  • Promote awareness of responsible AI practices.

Continuous Improvement & Industry Research

  • Contribute to the maturity of AI governance programs.
  • Stay informed about evolving AI regulations and best practices.
  • Evaluate governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • Recommend improvements to governance processes.
  • Support organizational AI governance initiatives.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Information Systems, Law, Compliance, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in governance, risk, compliance, audit, information security, or related disciplines.
  • Understanding of AI, machine learning, and Generative AI concepts.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience conducting assessments, audits, or compliance reviews.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience documenting policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into practical controls.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Excellent report-writing and documentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting AI governance or responsible AI programs.
  • Knowledge of emerging AI regulations and standards.
  • Experience within regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with privacy, security, and data governance frameworks.
  • Certifications in governance, risk, compliance, or auditing.
  • Experience working with AI development teams.
  • Knowledge of model risk management methodologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise AI transformation initiatives.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
