Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mission Assurance (MA) Risk Manager to join our team! The Air Force (AF) MA Construct Support (MACS) Team requires highly specialized technical, analytical, and investigative support services. This person will provide MA risk management, monitoring, and reporting support to enable the Air Force to coordinate, monitor, and communicate risks to mission execution to the Department of War (DoW). You will focus on managing, coordinating, analyzing, and operationalizing MA risk information in support of AF, Joint, and DoW decision-making.
This person will focus on identifying, validating, governing, and maintaining an authoritative, data-driven understanding of mission-essential capabilities, critical systems, Task Critical Assets (TCAs), Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI), and their dependencies across the AF enterprise ensuring mission success today and into the future.
This challenging and exciting work may provide you with the opportunity to travel CONUS and OCONUS to the most important Air Force missions and systems to ensure the survivability of any threat or attack.
What You'll Be Doing:
MA Risk Management and Risk Response Coordination - risks are generated through the DoW MA Construct based on mission and capability criticality analysis, probabilistic threat and hazard inputs.
MA Risk Data Stewardship and Enterprise Integration
MA Risk Monitoring and Continuous Oversight Support
DoW and DAF MA Governance, Decision Support, and Automation - support MA governance, oversight, and coordination forums, including provision of decision-support and automation capabilities to improve the efficiency, transparency, and analytical rigor of MA governance processes.
MA Monitoring, Reporting, and Decision-Support - support development, sustainment, and evolution of products under Government direction to enable operational awareness of MA conditions and impacts.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience in mission analysis, mission assurance, military operational planning, systems engineering, operational analysis, or a comparable analytical discipline supporting enterprise-level mission or risk decision-making.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% per year.
- Must have a valid US passport.
- Expertise in the following:
- MA risk management concepts, frameworks, and analytical methodologies, including management and coordination of risks generated through upstream MA processes
- Systems engineering, operational analysis, and enterprise risk assessment, including understanding of mission dependencies and capability-level impacts
- MA data stewardship, governance, integration, and advanced analytics, including structured and semi-structured data management
- Development of executive-level, operational, and enterprise decision-support products, including dashboards, monitoring views, and analytic outputs for senior leaders, MAJCOMs, and installations
- Support to coordination and staffing processes for MA risk response actions, including use of Government-directed tasking, staffing, and workflow management tools
- Proficiency with Government-directed enterprise data platforms, analytical tools, and visualization environments, including support to near-real-time monitoring and integration with operational or situational awareness systems
