Opportunity Overview

Team Overview:
Edward Jones is seeking a skilled financial services professional to serve as an associate product manager for Alternative Investments (Alts) within the Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) team. This individual will collaborate with team members to support the development and execution of the firm's Alts product strategy to ensure branch teams have quality product and support needed to help clients achieve their financial goals.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the development and management of innovative Alts products and solutions that align with firm advice and guidance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for supporting Alts onboarding and ongoing duties in order to manage and maintain the portfolio of products, including influencing recommendations to add / remove / change products or product partners as needed
  • Help shape and execute business plans that align with firm strategic direction
  • Ensure that product literature is maintained and wholesaling support is effective, aligned with key firm messages and compliant
  • Resolve moderately complex / broad product partner issues as escalated
  • Interface with product partner peer contacts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Alts product partner solutions for the firm. Includes foundational knowledge of product partner products features, benefits, pricing, and their relative positioning in the marketplace.
  • Internally, this position will known as Senior Risk and Control Associate

Position Requirements

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of risk management and/or change management experience
  • Experience leading and managing multiple initiatives/projects/large efforts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and systems thinking skills including the ability to independently identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate, and/or resolve issues, including root cause analysis
  • FINRA Series 7 license or acquire within 12 months of hiring.

What Could Set You Apart:
  • Prior experience as part of an ERM or first line of defense risk team, with experience handling multiple ERM initiatives
  • Prior experience focused on change and communication initiatives
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.

Salary Information
