Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager
Reporting to the Director of Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, you will lead food safety, quality, and regulatory programs at our Maple Grove, Minnesota manufacturing facility, which produces packaging for many of our popcorn brands and table spreads. You will help define best practices, ensure compliance, and drive strong food safety and quality performance across the plant.
This role is onsite at our Maple Grove, Minnesota food manufacturing plant.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Lead food safety and quality programs on the plant floor, ensuring strong ownership across operations and maintenance
Ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices, including hygiene, sanitation, and waste handling appropriate for packaging production
Manage key milestones and metrics for the Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Affairs improvement plan
Analyze and communicate food safety and quality issues, including customer and consumer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable food safety and packaging standards
Serve as liaison with internal partners across operations, quality, RQI, and commercial teams
Lead programs such as hazard analysis, food safety risk assessments, environmental monitoring, pest control, and recall readiness
Support vendor quality issues and new product launches using established tools and processes
Own the Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Affairs pillar within the Conagra Performance System, driving continuous improvement
Lead internal, customer, and certification audits, including corrective action responses
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Science, Packaging Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or food safety, preferably in packaging or consumer goods
Knowledge of food safety principles, manufacturing processes, and quality systems, including Global Food Safety Initiative standards
Strong people leadership skills with demonstrated success building culture, coaching teams, and driving learning and development
Experience with hazard analysis, food safety risk management, and audit readiness
Experience supporting customer, internal, and certification audits
Experience with manufacturing and quality systems such as SAP, Oracle, vision systems, or plant quality systems
Strong data analysis, problem solving, and root cause investigation skills
Strong communication skills with the capacity to train, influence, and collaborate across teams
Experience supporting cross-functional projects such as product launches and process improvements

Compensation
Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
