As our Assistant Manager of Regulatory Affairs, you'll help ensure our food products meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance, labeling accuracy, quality, and food safety while leading a team that supports critical business initiatives.What You'll Do:
In this highly collaborative role, you'll work with a team responsible for maintaining regulatory and product data while serving as a trusted resource to partners across R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, and other functional areas. You'll help guide commercialization by providing regulatory expertise and ensuring compliance every step of the way.
You'll Also Be Responsible For:
• Leading the, review, approval, and maintenance of product labels to ensure compliance with food labeling regulations and company standards.
• Overseeing specification management systems and processes to ensure ingredient and product information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Reviewing and approving label artwork, packaging content, advertising claims, and customer-facing product information.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on food labeling regulations, ingredient declarations, allergen labeling, nutrition labeling, and product claims.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance regulatory compliance, data integrity, and operational effectiveness.
• Supporting product information initiatives while fostering a culture of food safety and regulatory excellence.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Law and Regulation. or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of experience in regulatory affairs, food science, food processing, quality assurance, or a related food industry role.
• Strong knowledge of state and FDA food labeling requirements, ingredient declarations, allergen labeling, nutrition labeling, and product claims.
• Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them in a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interactions with regulatory agencies, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation, investigation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members preferred.
