The Sr. Risk Solutions Specialist is a mid-level technical position supporting loss control/risk engineering efforts through interaction with internal and external stakeholders. This position reviews and assigns RSS inspection requests to identify the best internal or external resource(s) to perform the required work.Performs and/or reviews Tier I and II level surveys. Attends industry events and training to enhance subject matter knowledge. Performs various RSS tasks at the request of Dir. Collaborates on internal RSS initiatives.

Job Description Summary
The Senior Risk Solution Services Specialist is a technical position supporting loss control/risk engineering efforts through interaction with internal and external stakeholders. The Specialist will possess a strong technical environmental and energy risk management background.
Job requirements:
- Provides loss control engineering expertise, to enable loss control to meet its customer and corporate goals
- Supports underwriting and business development efforts through customer visits and consultation
- Performs and/or reviews multiple types of loss control surveys including desktop surveys, on-site surveys, and phone surveys
- Reviews and assigns RSS inspection requests to identify the best internal or external resource(s) to perform the required work
- Manages and maintains high quality deliverables including reviewing vendor reports for quality and accuracy
- Maintains current knowledge of federal, state and local regulations as they relate to the energy industry.
- Maintains current knowledge and ability to train in environmental-related subject areas.
• Manages workload and maintain documentation for tracking of work requests
• Assists in managing vendor program and evaluate vendor quality
• Assists in managing service accounts
• Be knowledgeable in RSS guidelines and procedures
• Provides access to guidance documents and materials to internal and external customers
• Other tasks as needed to support RSS quality and growth initiatives
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in an Engineering, Risk Management, Environmental Science or related technical discipline from an accredited four-year college or institution.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years combined documented environmental loss control/risk management experience.
- Track record of successful project management for environmental or energy industry clients
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance coverage and exposures, as well as, strong experience working in a loss control/risk engineering or claims function
- Knowledge and experience with clean energy projects
- Experience should show trend of job enlargement with continuing expansion of loss control and/or claims management and operations responsibilities

Pay information:
The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The national average salary range for the Sr. Risk Solution Specialist is $92,880 - $127,710 with 15% incentive.
