What will your typical day look like? There are no typical days! Working in FSI Risk & Regulatory Compliance offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment, which presents you with the opportunity to continually grow and learn from people with different backgrounds and working styles. Based on the engagement, you will have the opportunity to: Contribute to the delivery of end-to-end client engagements - Assist the team with research, information gathering, analysis, documentation, and the preparation of presentations and other client-ready materials. Collaborate with your team and clients – Participate in workshops, interviews, and working sessions to understand business challenges, co-create practical solutions, and strengthen long-term client relationships through impactful delivery and trusted partnerships. Understand regulatory and non-financial risk – Build awareness of topics such as regulatory compliance risk, operational risk, consumer protection, market integrity, insurance risk, and operational resilience. Support the design and development of practical solutions – Contribute ideas and support the design of frameworks, processes, and controls that respond to client needs and meet regulatory expectations, taking into consideration emerging data and technological capabilities, as well as global leading practices. Learn the foundations of risk management – Develop an understanding of risk assessments, controls, monitoring, and testing through training and hands-on project work. Learn by doing – Grow your skills through client work, training, coaching, networking, and exposure to a dynamic range of client profiles across the financial services industry (e.g., large and medium-sized institutions in banking, capital markets, investment management, insurance). About the team We are the one of the largest Risk and Regulatory practices in Canada. The FSI Regulatory practice helps our clients understand and comply with evolving regulatory requirements, using cutting-edge technology and resources to innovate and drive impactful solutions. We support clients by developing proactive, forward-looking assessments of risk and regulatory trends and their impact on business models. We have extensive experience that we draw upon daily to make a meaningful impact in the financial services industry and shape the future of non-financial risk management. Enough about us, let’s talk about you In this role, the expected qualifications are: Working towards completing a post-secondary degree such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, Engineering or other similar disciplines by September 2027; Can demonstrate strong technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project); An inclusive team player who is passionate and motivated; Self-starter with strong problem-solving and critical-reasoning skills, with an ability to review information, identify key points, and communicate them clearly; Curious and comfortable with ambiguity; Excellent visual, written and oral communication skills, particularly articulating messages using Microsoft tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, etc.); The ability to thrive in a team and collaborative setting, contribute and share ideas, regularly seek guidance and feedback, and work to ensure the success of the team; A willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to professional and client service excellence; and, The ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality outputs with a high degree of task ownership. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
